Microglia: remove cell debris, wastes, & pathogens by phagocytosis. Satellite cells: surround neuron cell bodies of the ganglia, help regulate o2, co2, nutrients and neurotransmiter levels. Schwan cells: surround all axons in pns, help in repairs ater injury - when it myelinates an axon, it only covers one completely, but if it covers muliple, it"s sill considered unmyelinated.
