Because its awesome: things are rewarding because there is some evolutionary reason for it to increase our fitness. Sex offspring: things that feel good are good for us. Video games are not good for us: unproductive waste of time, this is because they imitate things that would be rewarding, consequences of video games are all negative. We suck at predicting the future and planning for it because we"ve evolved to plan for the present: video games feel good because they give us immediate pleasure, we associate feeling good with being good. Why is building a wall at the us and mexico boarder a reasonable idea: well it isn"t because . Mexicans aren"t stealing our jobs, they"re doing jobs that us citizens don"t do for cheaper. Therefore things for us are cheaper and we can actually afford things. If mexicans are kept out, we will have to have us citizens do those jobs and they will demand higher pay.
