American indian/alaska native: north, south and central america. Native hawaiian/pacific islander: hawaii, guam, samoa, pacific islands. Hispanic: not a race but an ethnic group (over 30 groups) The belief that one"s racial group is superior to others; includes stereotypes and prejudice. Generalization about a group; we tend to remember and search out info that confirms stereotypes, while ignoring that which doesnt; positive and negative types. Negative beliefs or attitudes about particular groups; pre-judgement.
