Rehearsal becomes a whole different level of importance less takes. If you go outside with 500tungsten, the color of the image will be blue. But the filter cuts 2/3 stop of light. So if the light meter is reading t stop: 8, the normal exposure should be at 5. 6 and a third. The black and white film has different sensitivity to daylight(higher) and inside(around 2/3 stops lower). f shooting at night exterior, should shoot with a 500 asa. You can program it on the light meter. The lower the asa, the finer the grain. You can shoot with 500, but you are going to need 3 times more light to deal with the asa than 50 asa.
