These ppl have damage in dorsal (vision-for-action system) Able to do matching but not posting. We can"t perceive these to be the same size- ventral stream. But dorsal stream is not fooled- we would reach out and grab for the same size. But if we need to grasp under memory" now your dorsal stream is fooled. There is no memory in dorsal stream so it would go to ventral stream to try to remember size. And we were be fooled by the illusion. This finding tells us that there is cross talk between the two streams. Important for visually-guided action (e. g. reaching and grasping) If two specialized systems, then you should see. : differential damage in another population (developmental disorder, different developmental trajectories over normal development.
