Add: spacy dreamy kids, more common in boys and internalizing disorder. A performance that is 2 or more grades below that child"s average level. Disorder of writing expression- kids may ne able to read but have a difficulty writing or spelling. Minimal brain dysfunction, difficulty putting words together, level of speech is lower than other kids their age. Phonological disorder (disorder of speech, not language)- primarily neuromuscular; may be associated with cognitive disorders but not one. *channeling problem, not processing problem; meaning not cognitive in the way that they aren"t good with language; they just can"t get it out effectively. Apraxia- motor skill disorder; damage of anterior frontal cortex; coordinated movement like writing, holding a knife. Visuospatial -the ones who get lost all the time; trouble drawing a circle. Socialization- trouble with innuendos, reading between lines; better with facts like science. Non-verbal ld (nvld) (aka rhld, right hemisphere ld)
