Visualization is thinking in pictures of in individual shots or brif sequences. In tv and film it means thinking in screen images. Whatever prompts you to visualize specific pictures, reason. Usually consists of a series of sketches in sequence. The storyboard is very detailed, key part of preproduction. Storyboards shows sketches or still photos of the key point of view of an event in proper sequence. Your visualizations depends on contextbut also on how you want to tell the story. Deductive: moving from general to specific, usually wide angle to narrower shot. Set up visual elements, time, characters, location, etc. Inductive: go from significant details of the events to a general overview. Begin with a close up of a significant detail, then follow with a series of close up details. Looking into an event: you are scrutinizing the event as closely as possible to look behind what is obvious. Communicate to the viewer what would otherwise be overlooked.
