Do your homework on the interview subject. Before designing your questions, think about and clarify your own thoughts on the topics that the interview will cover. Prepare an appearance release form for your interview subject. See examples of release forms posted on blackboard. Find the most comfortable location possible for conducting the interview both for you and your subject. Whenever possible, scout the location and set up your production gear beforehand so that you do not make your interviewee sit around and wait. Once you"ve nished your research and de ned your interview goals, jot down all of the questions that come to mind. Order your questions so that the interview has a logical ow.
