Fl still had an anti-sodomy law until the early 2000s. Scotus ruled that anti sodomy laws are unconstitutional: adultery, miscegenation. Sex between people of 2 different races. First wave of feminism, late 1800s and early 1900s: suffrage movement. Second wave feminism, 1960s and 1970s: betty friedan, feminine mystique, the idea of how women should be was suffocating for women, they felt stuck in the household, now, national organization for women. Fighting for equal pay for equal work, legalizing abortion, ending discrimination in the workplace.
