Document Summary

Law defines our obligations to one another and establishes the framework of mutual bonds that connect us as citizens and unite us through our highest principles. Law enables the voice of our priorities/realities etc. it indicates the society we wish to be. We are the law and the law is us. Constitutions are the foundation of such laws, the list of priorities in a sense. Constitutions are composed of society"s red lines and safe words. They are a guide for the nation and its dreams. America"s constitution has had little to no input from women or people of color the majority of people. Although our constitution has inspired generations including those who it ignores, it is not acting at its true potential. Picture a constitutional convention that is not dominated by men/wealth/etc. Instead picture a congress that applies the aspirations of all people, mixed up collectively, rebooting the constitutional activity with a new set of rules.
