Al-hallaj (d. 922) he is a sufi master: ibleece (satan) as the epitome of god"s lover. Prior to the fall, he is in heaven, with god. His curse is that he can no longer be with god. Our souls were at one point in direct contact with god, but we are now on earth we desire to be with god and search for him it is not a punishment, it is a curse. Satan is cursed but he has the job to test (satan the advisory in hebrew)(satan. Satan is not an evil or wicked being satan just has the questions to ask and test people: hallaj is executed for uttering a statement. He says that he is god and he is killed. They hung him the last word he said was allah . Cut off his head blood forms word allah. Burn him ashes form the word allah. Even in his death, he completely lost himself to god.
