Project 3 has been updated the requirements now are different than what was published on blackboard beforehand. Main topic: data: databases, data mining, data analytics, big data, social media, ethical concerns. A collection or type of information organized or not. Can be images, video clips, pixels from images, etc. ; can be many different types of things. Relational they store data in a way that relates data to other data. Investigation of data for relationships or trends that have not yet been discovered. Data for data mining is not yet related (usually raw data), searching for relationships. This is the key difference between a database and data mining. This mining is very common in advertising and economics, science and medicine, education and social science. A set or collection of data that is super large and may be too large for a computer memory system to hold at one time. Harder to mine, search, manipulate, and analyze.
