Planning, directing, and controlling resources (people, equipment, material) to meet the technical, cost and time constraints of the project. Universal all companies work on projects. Be on time, on budget and on scope. Makes up a majority of the success of the project. Requires a good project manager to make sure people work diligently and on time. If the scope changes, the cost and time will change too, vice versa. If the customer ask for additional scope, that leads to more cost or longer time to complete. If the time gets stretched out, cost will go up (have to pay people more) Self-contained team works full time on a project. Don"t do anything else for the company, all they do 100% of the time is on the project. Project manager is the manager of the employee.
