Short answer questions come from discussion questions in the book/class. Corporate culture: a blend of ideas, customs, traditional practices, company values and shared meanings; to help define normal behavior for everyone who works in a company. Ethical climate: the unspoken understanding among employees of what is and is not acceptable behavior: based on the expected standards/norms, multiple climates (or sub climates) can exist within one organization. To improve a company"s performance you have to change the cultural; build in safeguards. Ethics policies or codes: used as guidance to managers/employees to solve ethical dilemma, ethics programs must be widely distributed. Ethics training programs: expensive and time-consuming, found mostly in larger businesses, online/web-based training. The idea behind ethics tell us how to behave and what to do when there are ethical violations. Global ethics: doing business in global context brings up host of complex ethical challenges.
