Document Summary

American war for independence and it"s impact on the french revolution. Is an outgrowth of the discontent with the british government. Americans became upset with british rule and it took awhile for this to spread to become major outrage. France lost by ways of status from england. Declaration of independence uses the words of john locke, the same words that are used in the england bill of rights. They basically say that they deserve freedom and voice in government and such. Many loyalists try to help england, many of them didn"t have the nances to help and eventually ed to canada or back to england. Guerilla forces ambush british forces and it work well. Because they are loosing the loyalists get abused and switch sides. America is not a revolution until the end, because it has no a ect on anyone else. Washington paid his army out of his own pocket.
