The people are for the state but the state is not for the people. Totalitarian- mussolini ruled with an iron hand by using his own secret police known as the black shirts. Fear of communism: the black shirts led raids on communists. Immoral: germany went through a period of widespread immoral behavior. The rise of the nazi party: following wwi the nazi party gained a following based on fascist ideology. Adolf hitler soon became the fuhrer of the nazi party much of the nazis party philosophy was based on hitlers book. Mein kampf (my struggle) which talked about a nazi germay.
