For the next 3 classes, we will be presenting on different movie scenes. The notes will be something i took away from the specific presentation. The scene she shows exemplifies how people jump to conclusions in conversations, especially on a topic that they feel strongly about. When a man has his manhood, or overall freedom threatened, it can increase his aggression when communicating with others. This could possibly lead to a violent reaction. Communication is very important in relationships of all kinds, and essentially can make or break it. Bad communication can lead to trouble and a rift in relationship. This scene portrayed how people make assumptions about people based on the impression they have on us. That first interaction dictates how we interact with that person, and our communication. The movie shows how women do not always use female communication styles.
