Siddarth kara looks at prostitution and sex trafficking from the moral perspective and has difficulty removing himself from that one dimensional lens. But he also goes into the cultural framework and the push factors that contribute to these women being unable to escape their situation (i. e. why is the supply pool so large?) He characterizes them as weak, dependent, and incapable (removes her agency) Difference between kara and farley is that farley"s methodology can be replicated and tried again to find results -> more rigorous methodology from farley than from kara, although both are abolitionists. With regards to anything regarding human trafficking, there is too much complexity, and it is not just white and black for us to decide that it is all wrong or all right. Judges all prostitution and deems it to be harmful to all women, whether it"s voluntary or forced. Follows the u. s. psych and view on sex.
