In certain situations, any moral rule that you identify, it may seem right to break that rule. Any absolute moral rules seems to look unrealistic. Reparation: rectify harmful wrongs done to others. There"s an objectively correct answer to what your all-things-considered duty is in a certain situation. The list is the same for every person, but it is not always self evident what you should do in certain situations. How blameworthy you are for a particular moral mistake is based off what is reasonable for you and how dif cult the moral dilemma was in the rst place. The reason not to make a promise will be in relation to the seven prima facie duties. The best we can ever do is to seek out coherence between all societies.
