Document Summary

When you are nauseous that is only a re ection of yourself, not anything in the outside world. Says there are moral facts and there are scienti c facts because you are able to observe the wrongness of something when you do a thought experiment and that thought experiment can con rm or discon rm something. Scienti c observations are themselves matters of opinion. Observational evidence: nevertheless, observation plays a role in science that it doesn"t seem to play in ethics. You must assumptions about certain physical facts in order to explain the occurrence of the observations that support a scienti c theory. Whereas, you needn"t make assumptions about any moral facts in order to explain the occurrence of moral observations: you only need to make assumptions about the psychology and moral sensibility of the observer.
