There are many creatures that it is not prima facie wrong to kill shrimp, they have no higher function. In some cases, because its fun is enough: skipping a stone, breaking a stick, not killing human babies though. Some think early abortion is not immoral prima facie pro-choicer. Marquis thinks it is seriously immoral prima facie to end the life of a fetus: just as wrong to kill fetus as it is to kill you or me. Life is present from the moment of inception or when a fetus looks lie a baby or when the fetus possesses a characteristic (genetic code) which is necessary and suf cient for a human being. Any of these claims suf ces to show that abortion is morally akin to murder: pro-choice argument:
