Arguments for the wrongness of gay sex: homosexual sex is unnatural . What is unusual or abnormal is unnatural: that which is unnatural is prima facie morally wrong. What is not practiced by other animals is unnatural: animals do do this, but plenty of animals don"t do things that we do. What does not proceed from innate desires is unnatural. What violates an organ"s principal purpose is unnatural: penis is for making babies, you are born this way. Might not make it less wrong, but might make it less blameworthy. Corvino says just because you are born that way doesn"t mean that it"s okay: is there something intrinsically wrong with these behaviors? no, homosexual sex is harmful. To the couple involved disease: man-man sex is more dangerous than woman-woman sex and man-woman sex is somewhere in between. Saying that risky behavior is bad leaves lesbians in the clear. To others: homosexuality violates biblical teaching.
