There are times when it"s good to be nervous. Gad is characterized by chronic (it"s always there, it"s ongoing), uncontrollable (can"t make it go away) anxiety. Sense of doom and dread that doesn"t go away. They feel anxiety and their brains make up stories to explain the anxiety, they have anxiety beliefs, instead of usual beliefs anxiety. Afflicts women more than men (2 to 1) Only 20% can fully recover: panic disorder.
