Job descriptive index (jdi) developed by smith, kendall, and huli 1969. 72 job related adjectives and statements which are rated by employees. Minessota satisfaction questionnaire 20 subscales/dimensions that measures a specific part of job satisfaction. Job in general scale measures overall satisfaction. 24 items, 8 items each for 3 factors of commitment. I would be very happy to spen the rest of my career in this organization. I really feel as if this organizations" problem are my own. I would feel guilty about leaving this organization. Developed by mowday, steers and porter in 1979. Willingness to work to help the organization. Developed by balfour and wechsler in 1996. Most likely to occur when employees are dissatisfied or not committed to the organization find excuses not to go. 80% of low pay part time workers dont get paid leave.
