8(cid:1004)% of (cid:1005)(cid:1004) (cid:455)ear old girls do (cid:374)ot like their (cid:271)odies, that"s (cid:272)raz(cid:455) They think that if they can just control how their bodies look like then everything else will get better. We tend to look at these disorders in white women and no one else, so prevalence may be fucked up. Restriction of food intake leading to significantly low body weight. Intense fear of gaining weight/becoming fat or persistent behavior that interferes with weight gain ex: not only they are not eating, they are also over exercising. Disturbed perception of weight/shape, self-evaluation is focused on body shape/weight, or lack of recognition of the seriousness of current low body weight think they are fat when they are a stick. Most people with anorexia do not realize they are super skinny and that could be dangerous because it is a life-threatening disorder. Restricting type person does not binge-eat or purge, we tend to seem more of perfectionism and anxiety.
