Document Summary
Thinking and emotions that are so impaired that they indicate a person has lost contact with reality no longer know what it is real and what is not. Experiences can be frightening hard to function when you think people are out to get you. These symptoms tend to occur in cycles, episodic, they don"t occur all day every day. Hallucinations tend to be negative, ex: smelling feces instead of just smelling cookie. Experiencing sensations that do not actually exist. Command voices are telling you to do something, but are not easily as common as auditory hallucinations. Tactile feel like there is something on your skin when there is nothing there. Somatic they think a part of the body doesn"t exist when it does. Persecution or paranoia thinking someone is watching all the time. Reference the commercials on tv are for me, the song on the radio is referencing me.
