Ld st 322 leadership styles and strategies in a diverse society. Theory is so important to evaluate theory because theories lead us to a greater understanding. Theories can explain why something is happening or why something is working. Researchers who have a certain theory can oftentimes be discovered by other researchers who have the same or similar theories. From there, this is where theories grow into deeper more complex thoughts. Evaluating the different types of leadership is so important because we can learn to become better leaders ourselves. We can do this by discovering what style of leader we are and which style of leadership we are not. I find this extremely important in my own personal leadership. I know what type of leader i am and also which type of leader i work well with, but it is also important to know which type of leader you do not work well with.
