January 11 2017: my entire life i have received a catholic school education at o"gorman high school in my hometown of sioux falls, south dakota. From preschool to my senior year of highschool, i attended religion classes every single day. During my time i followed all rules that were expected of me. In my high school years, there was some difficulty with connecting with other individual students in my class. As i grew older, i had a lot of questions in regards to my faith. These individuals and my teachers viewed my questions as sinful. This situation caused me to resent those individuals because i felt they considered themselves holier than i, when i just wanted to understand the facts greater. Now being two years removed from high school i consider myself somewhat removed from my faith. I resented these individuals so much that it caused me to move away from my faith.
