Become informed (the most fundamental purpose of collaboration) Operational decisions: those that support operational, day-to-day activities. Example: at mcdonalds"s, clean the bathroom at 6pm. Managerial decisions: decisions about the allocation and utilization of resources. Strategic decisions: those that support broad-scope, organizational issues. Example: decision to open a new product line, decision to go national/international.
