REL-A 210 Lecture Notes - Lecture 5: Monolatrism, Avaris, Pithom
Document Summary
Introduction to the old testament/hebrew bible final exam. Wednesday, may 6, 8:00-10:00 a. m. , in our regular classroom. The final exam is worth 25% of your final grade. It is more heavily weighted toward the second half of the course (i. e. material not covered on the midterm), but some questions on the early material will also appear. Go back to your midterm study guide to review. The exam will be in four parts: 5 fill-in-the blank passages (verses taken from the bible) to test your familiarity with the characters, places, and ideas in the biblical texts we have discussed. These will not be obscure details, but significant things we have talked about in class. If you prepare for the rest of the exam, you should already be prepared for the fill-in-the-blank section. 1 pt each; total 5 points: 4 short questions. Brief questions where you will identify and explain a concept, idea, or character, using specific examples.
