Lack of voting rights (and really all citizenship rights) 14th amendment (1868): all people born here are citizens. Strengthens disenfranchisement of women by specifically mentioning men as having the voting right. 15th amendment (1870): no racial restrictions on voting. 19th amendment (1920): no sex restrictions on voting.
