Psychological disorder also known as psychological disorder is mental disorders. They can be irrational and paralyzing fear, uncontrollable urges, unexplained symptoms, or detachment from reality. They can cause hindrance in learn, work, and finding meaning in life. Those afflicted never know the severity and deny their behaviors. Clinical psychology- an integration of science, theory and clinical knowledge to understand, treat, and prevent psychological disorders. A common misconception is that an abnormal behavior is one that occurs very infrequently deviation from the norm. It is used to diagnose intellectual disabilities: a pro(cid:271)le(cid:373) (cid:271)e(cid:272)ause people with high iq"s are (cid:374)ot (cid:272)o(cid:374)sidered normal also need to consider whether behavior is deviation from the social norm, examples include criminal acts and suicide attempts. Behavior cannot be defined as abnormal or normal just because a majority of people do not exhibit it. We must know when behavior becomes a problem though.
