Speaks as though he is making logical points but it is wrong or missing. Both characters are arguing against the re-evaluation of the status quo . Socrates ideas are hostile towards status quo no one knows what justice is. Pangloss (factoring in the humor and irony) he is a character designed to question the status quo.
