Increase in Average Life Expectancy in the U.S.
o Life expectancy varies depending on where you live and what you have available to you

fever in the US

to elongate the lifetime of food

The three changes that led to life expectancy being extended is food safety, antibiotics, and
immunizations

o All are a result of the interaction of Genetics and Lifestyle
o Most importantly diet, exercise, substance abuse
