Client seemed has low self-esteem, has dependency problems; possible passed abuse, low education and sees herself as an object. The client could be pushed in either way, but he pushed her away, showing he possibly hurt the relationship that should have been helping; he was degrading/shaming her by calling her out. He has the education and training but his actions do not reflect it. Formal relationship-professional to another; generally only one-sided help. Informal relationship-nonprofessional; with a friend can be two sided helping. Each environment has: expectations, needs, values, beliefs and skills. Strength- took initiative to come to a helping professional. understanding emotions of another person"s feelings from their standpoint.
