Goal oriented- nonviolent action is a means towards and end. Grounded in politics, in strategizing a temporary choice. Rejects physical violence as too costly or impractical in specific circumstances. Uses persuasion and coercion as needed to defeat enemies. Struggle and suffering is acceptable if it achieves goals or ends an intolerable situations.
