INTERVIEW LESSON:
2. State Supreme Court Case: inadequate funding for public schools
3. Small groups- Pretend you work for: the state department of education, a school district
in Kansas, or a local news organization. Conduct research.
a. Create a list of 2-3 people you would interview.
b. Create a list of questions you would ask them (For each person, you need 2
closed-ended and 3-4 open-ended questions.)
4. I model part of it.
5. Share out: What you learned that will help you with your interviews?
• Be prepared.
• Ask specific questions.
6. Distribute “Interviews” handout.
7. Students work. Due Tuesday: handout AND notes from an interview.
