It"s against most religions to donate organs. Donor is only responsible for cost of care related to there illness. Typically better tissue match between donor and recipient. Recipient does not have to be on the waiting list. Less remorse -> no one had to die so i could live. The patient isn"t as sick typically: can be performed on liver, kidney, blood, and bone marrow, qualifying. Physically fit, overall good health, no htn, dm, ca, renal, heart, or infectious diseases.
