Communicaion is ubiquitous it is essenial to the human experience: required: it is connected to psychological, emoional, and physical well-being. Goal to become a beter communicator. Scholars don"t deny that men and women have diferences: research shows diferences are in degree not kind. Cross sex communicaion is not akin to intergalacic diplomacy". People devote too much ime to communicaion with too many errors to assume it is common sense. Strategies include embedding advice within other messages: ex. Break away from common sense and into a strategic mindset. Without proper iming or even poor iming it can hurt the communicaion/relaionship: ex. Addressing a drinking problem when that person is drunk.
