Group Response
A. 3 SIGNIFICANT FACTS
a. The lighting of the video reflects the mood of the poem.
b. The poem film also has dull and depressing music which helps reflect the mood of
the poem as well.
c. The man in the video is constantly staring off into space, reflecting that he is deep
in thought. He also whispers as if he is talking to himself.
d. Every two lines has a rhyme in it.
B. DESCRIPTIVE PARAGRAPH
a. The main focus of the poem is depression/death. He feels as if he cannot take his
possessions with him. We believe he may be suicidal because he constantly uses
“I” when referring to death, which is why he is so sad about the loss of his
possessions. We also believe he wonders if God will accept him after he dies
because he references that although he values his possessions, he values who he is
as a person too. We can believe he has had a past, which would lead to him be
unsure of acceptance from God (Judgement Day).
C. QUESTION
a. What is the significance of the location of the man in the video?
