Over the years, companies have started to engineer food to reach the perfect sweet spot. Professor howard moskowitz, who studied in math and experimental psycology developed a formula to find the perfect (cid:498)bliss point(cid:499) for foods meaning the perfect sweet spot. It started with things such as soda, candy, ice cream, and other treats that already contained sugar in them. Now it has come to finding that perfect sweet spot in all sorts of food whether it be bread, pasta, or even sauce. In doing so, it has become a major contributor to the obesity problem in the united. All the extra sugar has hardwired kids brains to want sweeter food, and avoid more nutritional food such as produce. In 1999, tobaccor producers warned the food industry that they would come under fire over salt, sugar, and fat content as they were for smoking.
