Document Summary

The stanford prison experiment was a very intense experiment. It showed the psychological affects of prison life. The prisoners showed major psychological affects after a few days of the experiment. Some prisoners rebelled and went against the guards. Consequently, all of the other prisoners refused to eat ad take advantage of their privileges. They stuck together when their mates were in confinement. One prisoner could not last and faked as if he was going crazy. Soon after a it of acting, it became a reality. They had no choice but to release him. The prisoner that replaced him was looked at as a trouble maker. As soon as he came in, he started rebelling, going on hunger strikes, etc. This experiment results would apply to real life in a prison in my opinion. You are told when to do everything, how to do things, when to eat, when to sleep, when to wake up.
