Naacp comes in, argues that school are not being separate but equal . Reaction to brown v. board of ed. Goal of southern caucasus was to protect white supremacy, could not win brown v. Board of ed because it was an emotional case. Written by martin luther king jr. in 1963 when he was in a birmingham, al jail. Put in jail for protesting, fighting white power structure.
