97% of the scientific community says climate change is real and is a growing danger to humanity. Global climate change can disproportionately affect the poorer classes in africa and the middle. Permafrost is melting which releases methane and other hazards. Climate change is increasing the severity of natural disasters like hurricanes and as a result more and more people are being hurt. Aquifer: geological formation for containing or transmitting groundwater. Groundwater is being depleted and as a result humanity"s water supplies are being harmed. Sanitation systems are one of the greatest medical advances. Countries without sanitation systems are increasingly experiencing higher water contamination levels. +people are being exposed to raw sewage which has serious health problems. About 2. 4 billion people have no access to sanitation. There are problems with centralized wastewater treatment systems and they can be hard to come by in the developing world. +this is huge for 1. 5 billion people who have sewage systems that provide no treatment.
