People who don"t have authority: powerless people don"t have the opportunity to better their lives to make themselves more powerful, to have a sense of authority. People who lack autonomy and control over their decisions: have bad jobs, always on the low end of the totum pole. People who lack status: you will be seen as a professional if you can be classified in a group. White men in suits are given respect immediately. Violence: members of some groups that live with the knowledge that they are in fear of being targeted, attacked, or harassed. People are profiled and subjected to unfair discrimination because of the group they belong to. In some social contexts, it is more socially acceptable to commit violence against certain groups. Marginalization: a whole category of people is expelled from useful participation in social life and thus potentially subjected to severe.
