Define Genre {Oxford English Dictionary} particular style or category of works of art…
characterized by a particular form, style or purpose
A genre is a specific division of human experience, a category/classification
Method of study/system of classification
Genre in daily life:

2. How do actors convey this beyond words
Becoming royalty – body stiffer; higher language  body language and tone of
voice  she was prideful so made sure her body exudes pride – looking in eye,
standing up straight, shoulders back, pausing – how characters relate to each
other (sub-text)  people can read the text at home they come to see the subtext
