Frustration caused by thwarted desires or by deprivations combined with the lack of nondelinquent channels. Trait-based personality theories: abnormal behavior stems from deviant/criminal personality traits, which may develop from the environment, brain injury, illness, drug abuse, etc, disorders, psychopathology. Asocial, aggressive, highly impulsive, feeling little or no guilt and unable to form lasting bonds of affection with others. Diagnosis depends on affective and personality traits: antisocial personality disorder.
