HST 140 Lecture Notes - Lecture 1: International Monetary Fund, Zhouzhi County, Yuan Dynasty
Document Summary
Lecture 1: the yuan dynasty, the global trade network. The history of the yuan dynasty is so complex that it took some time before the historical events of this period were recorded. The history is based on the "wang song," a document written in the song dynasty, in which wang wenshuan has the throne. At that time, the chinese were divided into different groups, most of which were in beijing. They lived on the outskirts of the capital in the middle of the valley of the yellow river. At the peak of the yuan dynasty, the emperor died and there was a struggle for power among the warlords. In his book, "chronology of the yuan dynasty," wang wenshuan tells that after the "wang song," the emperor died, his daughter was the rightful heir, and a young man, wu guofeng, was chosen as the new emperor. In the same book, wang wenshuan writes about wu guofeng.
