Sees future repercussions of the constitution => affect future generations. He is trying to lead the minds of the people. Want people to see that they have power. Once you give power to government the people will have to take it back by force. The government possess absolute and uncontrollable power. The power of the states will decrease. There is not limitation to the money powers of congress. The idea of the confederation is lost since the states won"t be independent. Since the states don"t have the power to tax, they cant support themselves. Consolidation of government=> the destruction of liberty. The judicial power of the us has too great a jurisdiction. The supreme court will take away the power and dignity of the state courts. The status quo of state laws will be overturned. With representation the people will not govern. We are too diverse=> nothing will get done.
