Provides food assistance dollars to: pregnant women, postpartum women. Up to 1 year after delivery, if breastfeeding. Up to 6 months after delivery, if bottle feeding. Infants, up to 1 year of age: children, from 1-5 years of age. Provides fresh, unprepared, locally grown fruits and vegetables. Goal is to increase participant use of framers" markets as well as grocery stores. Grants to states, territories and tribal governments.
